No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked BelgianKangoeroes (9-5) smashed on the road 16th ranked Dutch Den Helder (5-10) 75-48 on Saturday. Mechelen outrebounded Den Helder 41-27 including 30 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for American guard Trenton Gibson (193-2000, college: Indiana St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 5 rebounds. His fellow American import center Brayden Parker (203-2002, college: Idaho St.) helped adding 11 points and 12 rebounds. Kangoeroes' coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American point guard TreVion Crews (183-1996, college: Bethel, IN) with 20 points and forward Jacco Fritz (208-2000, college: Hofstra) scored 11 points. The victory was the third consecutive win for Kangoeroes . Mechelen moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Leeuwarden and Brussels. Loser Den Helder keeps the sixteenth position with ten games lost.
